ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
I am a former educator turned instructional designer who loves transforming complex concepts into active, learner-centered digital experiences that actually move the needle.
I believe that learning should be as engaging as it is purposeful. By rooting my designs in Merrill’s First Principles of Instruction, I ensure that every module is task-centered and grounded in real-world application. Whether I’m designing for preschool educators or corporate new-hires, my goal is to reduce cognitive load and move beyond passive information delivery toward active, performance-based mastery.
I am a collaborative, process-driven designer who thrives on translating complex Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge into digestible learning journeys. My workflow is built on Action Mapping and iterative feedback; I start by identifying the "must-have" behaviors and work backward to design the most efficient path to success. I am self-directed, comfortable in asynchronous environments, and dedicated to delivering accessible, polished solutions on time.

Instructional design did not begin with a job title for me. It began with a genuine curiosity about how people learn. Long before formally stepping into the role, I was designing learning experiences, analyzing performance gaps, and refining systems to help others reach moments of clarity and growth. My path into instructional design was not a pivot. It was an evolution. From mathematics classrooms to business environments and into formal ID practice, each chapter expanded my perspective and strengthened my ability to align strategy, data, and human-centered design. Together, these experiences shaped the thoughtful, performance-aligned approach I bring to learning today. Explore the progression below to see how each role contributed to the instructional designer I am now.
